What is Cheesesteaks and Heartbreaks all about? Basically, we're a couple of Philadelphians, born-and-raised, who are diehard fans of our sports teams (ok, maybe not "diehard" Sixers fans, but we like them). Being Philly guys, we eat a lot of cheesesteaks while we watch games. And, we've endured more than our fair share of sports heartbreaks throughout our lives. So that explains the name of our blog.
Of course, they don't always break your heart, as was the case with the 2008 Phillies, but more often than not they do, as any long-time Philly supporter knows. That doesn't stop our passion, however, and it makes the championships (well, championship...we've only been alive to witness one) all the more sweet.
